Robert Ravesi Arrested for Aggravated DWI in Sterling, NY

34-year-old charged after traffic stop on Route 3 for speeding and intoxication

Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck announced the arrest of 34-year-old Robert Ravesi on August 15 following a traffic stop in Sterling.

Deputies stopped Ravesi on Route 3 after clocking him at 73 mph in a 55 mph zone and observing unsafe lane changes. Upon investigation, Ravesi was found to be intoxicated with a recorded blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .26%.

Ravesi faces charges including DWI (first offense), aggravated DWI, speeding, unsafe lane change, and license violations. He is scheduled to appear in Sterling Town Court on August 27 at 6 p.m.
