GREENVILLE, NC – A Greenville man is facing multiple charges following a narcotics operation conducted by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) Special Operations Unit on August 7, 2025.
According to the PCSO, detectives had information that Robert Lametric Moore, 48, was in possession of a trafficking quantity of heroin/fentanyl. The Gang and Gun Unit, assisted by K-9 deputies, located Moore in a Dollar General parking lot.
When approached, Moore attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. Detectives seized 18.1 grams of fentanyl during the arrest.
Moore was taken before a magistrate and charged with the following offenses:
Level 2 Trafficking in Opium or Heroin (Felony)
Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substances (Felony)
Out-of-County Child Support Process Served (Misdemeanor)
He received a $200,450 secured bond and is currently held at the Pitt County Detention Center.
The PCSO emphasized its continued efforts to combat drug distribution and gang activity in the county.
