Robert Bruster Charged in West Gadsden Street Shooting

Pensacola man faces attempted murder, gun charges

PENSACOLA, Fla. — A 30-year-old man, Robert Bruster, has been arrested and charged in connection with a Sunday morning shooting on West Gadsden Street, according to the Pensacola Police Department.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. when multiple gunshots were reported in the area. The city’s ShotSpotter system alerted officers to the precise location of the shooting, allowing for a rapid response.

Upon arrival, officers found one adult suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening and that the individual remains in stable condition.

Charges Against Bruster

Bruster is facing several felony charges, including:

Attempted murder

Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Felony criminal mischief

He is currently being held in the Escambia County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
