Robert Bores Pleads Guilty to Domestic Violence Charges in Erie County

Man admits to using cattle prod on children; sentencing set for December 11

SANDUSKY, Ohio — Robert Bores, a 35-year-old man from Berlin Heights, has agreed to plead guilty to two felony counts of domestic violence for using a cattle prod to discipline three of his young children.

Court records reveal that as part of the plea deal, a third domestic violence charge and three counts of child endangerment were dropped by prosecutors.

Bores faces a maximum sentence of six years in prison and a potential fine of $20,000.

He is scheduled to appear in Erie County Common Pleas Court on December 11 for sentencing.
