VAN ALSTYNE, Texas (KTEN) — A routine traffic stop in Van Alstyne led to the arrest of Robert Anthony Brady II, who now faces multiple charges related to drugs and firearm possession.
Police pulled Brady over near US 75 and FM 121 after discovering he was driving without insurance. During the stop, officers reported smelling marijuana from inside the vehicle.
A search of the car revealed a gun in the center console, marijuana on the floorboard, and drug paraphernalia. Brady, a McKinney resident, was taken into custody and booked into the Grayson County Jail.
He was later released on bond. Authorities have not disclosed further details as the investigation continues.
