VALENCIA, Calif. – An 18-year-old Lancaster woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing personal belongings from bags in Valencia.
Deputies responded around 4 p.m. to a report of petty theft on the 26100 block of Magic Mountain Parkway, according to Deputy Mariela Picard of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“A witness reported observing the suspect stealing items from bags that did not belong to her,” Picard said. “Surveillance cameras also caught the suspect going through bags that did not belong to her.”
The suspect, identified as Rmesha White, was booked on identity theft charges. She was later released without bail.
