A Riviera Beach man has been arrested in connection to a late-night homicide that occurred early Sunday morning. At around midnight, officers from the Riviera Beach Police Department (RBPD) responded to a shooting incident at 2536 Canterbury Drive North, where they found a woman in her car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was quickly transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center but tragically succumbed to her injuries. Following a swift investigation, authorities identified Rodney L. Sanders as the suspect. Sanders was arrested within 24 hours of the incident and booked into Palm Beach County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
The Riviera Beach Police Department praised the prompt and thorough investigative efforts that led to the quick apprehension of the suspect, ensuring justice for the victim and her family.
