Riley County Officer Stephen Clark Arrested on Computer Crime Charges

Officer placed on leave after domestic-related investigation

Stephen Benjamin Clark, a 42-year-old officer with the Riley County Police Department, has been placed on administrative leave following his arrest on charges of unlawful computer acts. Clark, a resident of Manhattan, was arrested Wednesday near 5 p.m. at 1024 Lobdell Drive and released on a $4,000 bond.

The arrest came after an internal RCPD investigation connected to a domestic-related incident involving a 36-year-old female victim. Clark was placed on leave on Monday once the report was filed.

Riley County Police officials have declined to provide further details regarding the circumstances of the arrest.
