Two individuals from Lee County, Illinois, were arrested as part of ongoing drug investigations led by the Illinois State Police Blackhawk Area Task Force (BATF). The arrests came through coordinated efforts with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Dixon Police Department.
On September 5, BATF agents apprehended Ricky C. Griffin Jr., 47, of Dixon. He faces serious charges including delivery of cocaine (a Class X felony) and delivery of a controlled substance (a Class 1 felony).
In a separate but related case, Allison R. Dunne, 30, of Amboy, was arrested and charged with delivery of methamphetamine, also a Class X felony.
The Blackhawk Area Task Force includes law enforcement officers from Illinois State Police and agencies in Carroll, Henry, Lee, Stark, and Whiteside counties, as well as Clinton County, Iowa. The task force specializes in combating drug trafficking through collaborative investigations across jurisdictions.
Authorities confirm that both investigations remain open and active.
