Richmond Hill Woman Accused of Stealing $81K from Soccer Booster Club

Richmond Hill, GA — Susan Nelson, a 44-year-old woman from Richmond Hill, is facing serious charges after being accused of embezzling $81,000 from the Richmond Hill High School soccer booster club. According to police, Nelson, who was serving as the booster club president, allegedly used the stolen funds for personal expenses such as Verizon bills, an OnlyFans subscription, and transfers to her business, Sweet Grace Marketing, LLC.

Reports indicate that Nelson used PayPal to funnel money to her business and even transferred funds to her personal USAA bank account. She is also accused of changing the name of the booster club’s account to her own in an attempt to conceal the fraudulent transactions.

Richmond Hill Police further revealed that Nelson had been planning to leave town, even going so far as to put her home up for sale and alter her appearance.

Nelson has been denied bond and is scheduled for another hearing on March 20. Her arrest comes after the investigation into her actions, and authorities have yet to hear from Nelson’s attorney or the Richmond Hill School System.

This isn’t Nelson’s first encounter with alleged fraud. The New York Post reports that in the previous year, she confessed to keeping $10,000 raised for the family of Mica Miller, a South Carolina woman who died in a tragic incident.

In a TikTok video, Nelson admitted that defrauding people had become a “habit” but claimed she was attempting to change her ways. The investigation into her activities continues as she faces multiple serious charges.
