Two suspected drug dealers were arrested Tuesday night after an anonymous tip led police to an apartment in North Beach, authorities said.
Officers with the Miami Beach Police Department Strategic Investigations Unit and SWAT team executed a search warrant at an apartment on 76th Street in Miami Beach, Florida. Authorities forced entry into Apartment 13 before ordering the occupants outside at gunpoint.
Body camera footage showed the two suspects — Richard Ramos Vazquez and Remigio Romero — exiting the apartment with their hands raised before being taken into custody.
Inside the apartment, officers said they recovered various narcotics, including ecstasy, methamphetamine, and cocaine. During a bond hearing in Miami-Dade Circuit Court, Judge Victoria Sigler referenced the drugs seized in the case.
Police said the investigation began last July after receiving an anonymous Crimestoppers tip. Detectives conducted surveillance and coordinated investigative efforts before obtaining the search warrant that led to the arrests.
Both men are facing multiple drug-related charges, including possession with intent to use. The investigation remains ongoing.
