OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Authorities have arrested Richard Hawkins, also known as “Pac-Man,” in connection to a December 20 homicide in Oklahoma City.
Investigation and Arrest
Police discovered a man shot to death near 4th Street and Kentucky, lying by the curb. Witnesses reported hearing three gunshots and an argument before the shooting.
According to court documents, investigators learned the suspect went by the nickname “Pac-Man.” Two weeks later, they identified him as Richard Hawkins.
A witness later told police that Hawkins allegedly admitted to the killing, saying, “He had to go, I shot the guy.”
On December 31, officers found Hawkins at a bus stop in Edmond and arrested him.
Charges and Bond
Hawkins, who has a prior felony conviction from California, is now in the Oklahoma County Jail on a $10 million bond. Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
