VERONA, N.Y. — A 34-year-old Verona man, Ricco Torres, has been arrested following a violent domestic incident involving two victims, including a 16-year-old, on the afternoon of July 7.
Deputies from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic complaint in the Town of Verona. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a verbal altercation escalated when Torres allegedly struck the victims with a belt and caused property damage.
Torres now faces several misdemeanor charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon. He also faces two harassment violations.
He was transported to the Oneida County Correctional Facility and is awaiting arraignment.
