Reynhard Sinaga, Britain’s Most Prolific Rapist, Attacked in Prison

Reynhard Sinaga, who holds the grim title of Britain’s most prolific rapist, has been attacked in prison in what is believed to be a planned vigilante assault by fellow inmates. Sinaga, who was convicted for committing 136 rapes and 159 sexual offences against young men, has been serving a life sentence with a minimum term of 40 years.

In July, Sinaga was violently attacked at HMP Wakefield, though he narrowly escaped serious injury. A source close to the situation revealed to The Sun that Sinaga, widely despised for his depraved crimes, was almost the victim of much more severe harm. The source remarked, “He is universally loathed and a clear target in prison.”

Sinaga, an Indonesian-born man, moved to the UK in 2005, where he spent over a decade drugging and assaulting young men in Manchester. His horrific crimes came to light in 2017 when one victim woke up during an assault and reported the attack.

Following the assault, Jack McRae, 32, was moved to HMP Frankland. He has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm (GBH) for his role in the attack on Sinaga, as well as for alleged assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) on several other inmates, including Sayed Taheri, Patrick Harrington, and Andrew Gillis.

Andrew Beadie, currently at HMP Long Lartin, is also facing charges in connection to the assault on Taheri.
