MONTGOMERY, La. — Reginald Berry, 55, owner of Chop’s Retriever Academy in Montgomery, has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty.
The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation after receiving reports alleging abuse of dogs left in Berry’s care. Following the inquiry, Berry was charged with three counts of cruelty to animals.
The investigation highlights the ongoing commitment to animal welfare in the community.
