Bibb County, AL — Two suspects previously arrested in a disturbing child abuse case in Bibb County now face new charges of first-degree rape and sexual torture involving a child under 12 years old.
Rebecca Brewer and Ricky Terrell were both already facing serious charges stemming from an investigation into an underground bunker allegedly used in a child trafficking and abuse operation. Brewer had previously been charged with eight counts of human trafficking, kidnapping, and three counts of sexual torture. Terrell had been charged with rape.
Authorities have described the case as one of the most shocking child exploitation investigations in the county’s history, with links to sexual abuse, human trafficking, and a hidden bunker used in the crimes.
So far, ten children have been identified as victims, and seven individuals have been arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation.
