A Renton woman has been sentenced after pleading guilty to her role in an organized retail theft ring that targeted Lululemon stores in Washington.

Reality Leavens received a sentence of time served after admitting guilt to a second-degree retail theft charge, according to local reporting. As part of her plea agreement, prosecutors dropped charges related to a separate theft incident in Kirkland.

The thefts took place at Lululemon stores in Kirkland on August 9 and at Bellevue Square on August 15, where the group made off with over $6,000 worth of merchandise.

Security footage from the Bellevue Square store showed Leavens and her codefendants, including Janeice Renee Downs, participating in the theft. Leavens was seen pulling a plastic bag from underneath a hijab and using it to stash Lululemon apparel, specifically pants.

Downs was sentenced on August 22 to 33 months in prison for her role in the crimes. Both women were arrested at a home in Kent, where authorities discovered firearms and more than $537,000 worth of stolen Lululemon merchandise.

The case highlights the scale and coordination involved in recent organized retail theft operations, a growing concern for law enforcement and retailers alike.
