MACON, Ga. — A man wanted for alleged drug trafficking in Bibb County was arrested on Wednesday after a coordinated operation by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) and the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Around 5:00 p.m., investigators executed a search warrant at a residence on North Groveland Circle in Macon. During the search, authorities arrested Rayshawn Renaldo Lucas, who was found in possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, a large sum of money, and three stolen firearms.
Lucas was already wanted for trafficking narcotics and several firearm-related offenses in Bibb County. Following his arrest, he now faces additional charges, including trafficking fentanyl, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Lucas is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
