Colerain Township police have made an arrest in connection to an armed robbery at PayMore electronics store in Colerain Towne Center on January 3. Rayshawn Kelley, 38, was arrested on Thursday and charged with aggravated robbery and having weapons under disability, both felonies.
Police say that Kelley, along with another suspect, robbed the store and was later found with multiple firearms and narcotics in his car at the time of his arrest. As a convicted felon, Kelley is prohibited from owning firearms. Court records show he has prior convictions for robbery (2007), felonious assault (2012), and possessing weapons while under disability (2012 and 2022).
Despite the narcotics found in his car, no charges related to drug possession were listed in his Hamilton County jail record. Kelley was on parole at the time of his arrest. His initial court appearance for the charges was scheduled for Friday. Colerain police did not provide further details on the second man involved in the robbery.
