SLIDELL, La. — Three individuals were arrested following a joint drug and weapons investigation, authorities said.
Slidell Police revealed that investigators targeted a retail-level heroin and fentanyl distribution network allegedly run by Raymond Allen Jr., known for distributing drugs in Northshore communities.
Investigators traced Allen to an apartment in New Orleans East, where a search uncovered approximately 153 grams of fentanyl, several firearms, and various drug paraphernalia.
The operation led to the arrests of Raymond Allen Jr., Otis Wallace, and Raychon Allen. Two of the individuals were already wanted on felony warrants out of Orleans Parish and Jefferson Parish.
All three face various firearms and narcotics-related charges, as authorities continue to investigate the scope of the drug network.
