TULSA, Okla. — A woman from Tulsa is behind bars after allegedly attacking a police officer early Saturday morning.
Tulsa Police responded to a car crash near Admiral and Yale shortly after 1 a.m. The driver, Raychel Snider, was found to have crashed into a light pole while driving with her 12-year-old daughter in the vehicle.
Officers noted that Snider was unsteady on her feet and had slurred speech. When asked if she had consumed any alcohol, Snider admitted to having eaten a THC edible before the crash. Her daughter, who was reportedly barefoot in cold weather, expressed concern to officers, saying she was afraid to ride with her mother because she kept falling asleep while driving.
Frustrated with the officers, Snider allegedly attacked a sergeant before being subdued and taken into custody. She was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on charges of DUI, child endangerment, and assault and battery on a police officer.
