Ravi Teja, Naga Rao Held in Hyderabad Theft Case

Juvenile also nabbed for phone snatching near Chilkalguda

The Gopalapuram police have apprehended two history-sheeters and a juvenile in connection with a mobile phone theft near Chilkalguda X Roads on June 28.

The accused were identified as M. Ravi Teja (21), B. Naga Chenna Kesava Rao (21), and a 15-year-old boy. The arrest follows a complaint lodged by cab driver D. Durga Rao, who reported that his mobile phone had been snatched in broad daylight.

Following the complaint, police registered a case and launched an investigation. The trio was tracked down using surveillance footage and local intelligence. All three suspects were taken into custody and the stolen mobile phone has been recovered.

Police confirmed that both Ravi Teja and Naga Rao have a history of thefts and petty crimes. The juvenile’s involvement is under review, and he will be processed in accordance with juvenile justice laws.
