Ratlam Police Arrest Moin and Sameer in House Theft

Two arrested, accomplices still absconding in burglary

Ratlam’s Industrial Area Police recently arrested two men in connection with a burglary at a house in Nirala Nagar. The incident involved theft from the residence of 66-year-old Baljeet Singh, police said.

Unidentified intruders had broken into Singh’s home, stealing two laptops, a notepad, and gold and silver ornaments stored in a box. Following the complaint, a case under Sections 331(4) and 305(A) of the BNS was registered, and an investigation was launched.

Sub-Inspector Amit Kumar formed a special team, which analyzed CCTV footage from the area to identify suspects. Two men, Moin (26) and Sameer (27), both residents of Ukala Road, Ratlam, were detained for questioning. During interrogation, they admitted to the burglary along with accomplices Golu alias Imran and Prince, who remain absconding.

Police successfully recovered the stolen gold and silver ornaments, Rs 1,500 in cash, and the auto-rickshaw used in the crime. Additionally, a motorcycle stolen in another case was seized. The arrested accused have been taken into custody for further proceedings.
