Glasgow, KY – A 36-year-old Edmonton County woman, Randee Bell, was arrested on Tuesday, April 8 by the Glasgow Police Department on a series of drug-related charges following a routine traffic stop.
According to a press release, Officer Colton Riley initiated the stop on Burkesville Road, where he reportedly detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the car revealed marijuana, methamphetamine, Diazepam, drug paraphernalia, and a set of scales, all of which were seized as evidence.
Bell was charged with the following offenses:
Careless Driving
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Third-degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (unspecified)
Possession of a Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container (1st Offense)
Possession of Marijuana
First-degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine, 1st Offense)
She is currently lodged at the Barren County Detention Center on an unsecured bond of $2,500. Her court appearance is scheduled for May 1 at 8:30 a.m.
