OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) — Miami-based TikTok influencer Ramon Paez was arrested in Oconee County on multiple forgery charges, deputies confirmed.
According to arrest warrants, Paez met with the victim in October 2024 to assist in fixing a credit blemish. The victim agreed to cosign a single construction loan aimed at building houses and earning a profit.
However, the lender, Equity Lending Solutions, sent documents revealing eight active loans under the victim’s name—far exceeding the one loan originally agreed upon by Paez and the victim.
The victim was unaware of the additional loans until notified by the company.
Authorities report that Paez voluntarily surrendered himself to law enforcement and was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center at 10:33 a.m. on Friday. He posted a combined surety bond of $17,000 and was subsequently released.
