In a significant development, Suman, a third-grade physical education teacher in Rajsamand district, Rajasthan, has been arrested by the Special Operations Group (SOG) for submitting fake documents to secure her job. The fraudulent certificate and marksheet helped her land the position as a teacher under the PTI Recruitment 2022.

Suman, a resident of Rajgarh in Rajasthan’s Churu district, allegedly used a fake BPEd degree and marksheet to gain employment at the Government Higher Primary School in Soniana village. The SOG arrested her after an extensive investigation, during which it was revealed that she also presented fake certificates for Taekwondo and Tug of War sports to qualify under the outstanding players’ quota.

Suman’s husband, Mandeep Kumar, who worked in the Directorate of Education, Bikaner, and Jagdish Saran, her colleague and Secretary of the Tug of War Federation, have also been arrested in connection with the scam. Both are already in custody.

SOG ADG VK Singh confirmed that Suman was detained by the Udaipur team with the help of Rajsamand Police. After being brought to Jaipur, she was interrogated and arrested. The investigation indicated that she had used fraudulent documents to secure her teaching job.

In a separate development, the SOG has made additional arrests in the ongoing investigation into the SI Recruitment Paper Leak Case. Lokesh, a teacher from Dausa, and Vimala Vishnoi, a female supervisor from Dhorimanna, were arrested for their involvement in the paper leak. Both had absconded after the SOG tightened its investigation into the recruitment scam. Authorities are now probing how both individuals were recruited, and further arrests may follow.

The SOG is continuing to investigate the full extent of the fraud, particularly how these fake documents were produced and circulated. The authorities are also working to identify other candidates who may have benefited from similar fraudulent practices in the PTI recruitment and other recruitment processes.
