DUSHANBE, TAJIKISTAN — Officers from Police Station No. 1 in Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district have arrested Rahmonali Tabarov, a 47-year-old repeat offender, on multiple theft charges involving cars and construction sites.
According to the Dushanbe Police Directorate, Tabarov was breaking car windows near residential buildings and stealing valuables, including money and electronics. He is also accused of entering construction sites illegally to steal power tools and building materials.
Criminal proceedings have been opened against him under Article 244 (theft) of Tajikistan’s Criminal Code. He is currently in pretrial detention while authorities investigate additional cases possibly linked to him.
Teen Charged with 20+ Car Break-Ins
In a separate case, officers from Police Station No. 2 in Dushanbe’s Sino district arrested 17-year-old M. Odinayev. Authorities believe he was involved in more than 20 car burglaries and at least one case of unlawful vehicle use.
Odinayev allegedly broke car windows to steal phones, cash, and other valuables. He is also accused of taking a vehicle without intending to keep it permanently. The teen had previously faced similar charges and now faces prosecution under:

Article 252 – Unlawful taking of a vehicle without intent to steal
Investigations in both cases remain ongoing.
