Quintavis Holt Arrested in Double Homicide in Pineview

Charged with murder, assault, and firearm possession

WILCOX COUNTY, GA — A man wanted in connection with a deadly double shooting in Central Georgia has been arrested.

Quintavis Holt, 39, of Pineview, was taken into custody Saturday by the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office. Holt was sought for a shooting that occurred shortly after midnight on May 25.

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), the incident took place at a home in the 200 block of Depot Street in Pineview, where several people had gathered. During the gathering, gunfire broke out, and two individuals were fatally shot.

The victims were identified as Nathadius Kenta Lawson, 36, and Charleston Calix, 40, both residents of Pineview. Both men died at the scene.

Holt now faces five felony charges, including two counts of malice murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The GBI has handed the case over to the Cordele Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
