In a targeted crackdown, the Pune City Police have arrested two young men and apprehended a minor boy for allegedly robbing people during their morning walks at multiple locations across the city. The arrests come as part of ongoing efforts to curb street crimes and ensure public safety in residential neighborhoods.

The accused have been identified as:

Sumit alias Diamond Raju Awsare (19 years old)

Abhishek alias Kanhole Bharat Kandhare (22 years old)
— Both are residents of the Kothrud area in Pune.

The third suspect, a minor, has been detained and is currently under the supervision of the juvenile justice system.

According to the police, the trio targeted early morning walkers, catching them off guard to snatch valuables such as phones, wallets, and jewelry. Multiple complaints from victims across different localities led the police to intensify patrolling and surveillance during early hours, resulting in the arrests.

Investigations are ongoing, and police suspect the group may be linked to additional thefts.
