In a major breakthrough, Pune police have arrested eight individuals, including Bandu Andekar, the alleged leader of the Andekar gang, in connection with the murder of teenager Ayush Komkar. The killing is believed to be part of a deep-rooted family feud involving longstanding rivalries and property disputes.
Ayush Komkar was shot dead on September 5, with investigators revealing that Bandu Andekar orchestrated the attack in retaliation for Ayush’s role in the murder of NCP leader Vanraj Andekar the previous year. Bandu, considered the mastermind behind the assault, along with seven others, were arrested from various locations, including Pune and Buldhana district.
The arrests highlight the ongoing tension within the families involved, with multiple members now under judicial custody as police continue to unravel the complex web of violence and vendettas surrounding the case.
