Property Manager Arrested for Stealing Rent Payments from Tenants

Christine Hogan allegedly stole checks from 52 tenants at Wedgewood Apartments

CICERO, N.Y. – Christine Hogan, a property manager at Wedgewood Apartments in Bridgeport, was arrested on February 11, 2025, for allegedly stealing rent payments from tenants. Hogan, also known as Christine Waters, faces charges of Grand Larceny in the third degree.

Hogan, 30, of Clay, was under investigation by law enforcement agencies across Onondaga County. According to the Cicero Police Department, Hogan had been stealing rent checks and deposits from tenants at multiple apartment complexes. The investigation, which began in December, revealed that 52 tenants at Wedgewood Apartments had their rent payments either stolen or altered by Hogan. Additionally, deposits from prospective tenants were also taken.

Hogan has been processed at the Cicero Police Department and is currently held at the Onondaga County Correctional Facility pending her arraignment.
