POLK COUNTY, Texas — Deputies in Polk County have arrested three individuals and issued felony warrants for a fourth following an investigation into an organized theft in Goodrich.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were called to a property Tuesday after a theft in progress was reported. Upon arrival, Christi Coleman, Lonnie Long, and Eddie Doolan were found on the scene and taken into custody.

Detectives soon learned that the property had been targeted in multiple thefts over the weekend, prompting a deeper investigation. Each of the three suspects has been charged with burglary of a building and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Investigators also identified a fourth suspect, James “JJ” Grubbs, who was not present during the incident. Evidence linked Grubbs to the thefts, and he is now wanted on two active felony warrants for burglary and organized criminal activity.

During the investigation, deputies recovered a stolen tractor and several implements previously taken from the property.

The sheriff’s office emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed as more information emerges.
