On Friday, Garhwa SP Deepak Kumar announced the arrest of six criminals involved in theft and burglary in the region. The arrested individuals were identified as Satish Kumar Vishwakarma, Lalbabu Ram, Mukesh Kumar Soni, Dilkash Roshan (all residents of Palamu district), and Sushil Soni and Krishna Soni (both from Garhwa district).
The police recovered gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs and Rs42,490 in cash from the accused.
Due to the rising incidents of theft and burglary in the Sadar police station areas, a special team was formed, led by Garhwa SDPO Neeraj Kumar. This team successfully apprehended the gang on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday while the criminals were planning their next targets.
