The Faridabad police have arrested four youths for stealing Rs11.75 lakh from a truck parked near Sarai Khawaja on NH-19 on February 3.
The arrested individuals, identified as Anuj, Ankit, Avnesh, and Ajay, were captured by the police team from different locations in Faridabad. According to the police spokesperson, the driver of the truck had collected the payment from Ludhiana and placed the money inside the vehicle before stopping at a dhaba.
Avnesh, who knew about the money being collected, allegedly conspired with Ankit. While the driver was inside the dhaba, the two youths broke the truck’s window and stole the money. Upon returning, the driver discovered the window had been broken and the Rs11.75 lakh was missing. The police successfully apprehended the four suspects involved in the crime.
