Mancheswar police have arrested Pinki Naik (40) in connection with the murder of police volunteer Sahadeb Nayak on January 8, which took place on the Rasulgarh flyover. With her arrest, the total number of individuals taken into custody has reached six.
According to police, Pinki Naik was involved in plotting Nayak’s killing due to his resistance against the drug trafficking activities carried out by some of the arrested suspects. Investigations revealed that she collaborated with the other accused to orchestrate the murder. Authorities are continuing to gather details in the case.
