Phillip Robnett Arrested on Forgery and Theft Warrants

Hopkinsville man taken into custody on McCracken and Calloway County charges

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — A Hopkinsville man was arrested Monday night on multiple warrants related to theft and forgery charges, according to local police.

Officers with the Hopkinsville Police Department arrested 33-year-old Phillip Robnett on a warrant issued out of McCracken County charging him with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by unlawful taking.

Police also discovered Robnett had a criminal summons from Calloway County for theft by unlawful taking and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances that led to the charges.

The case remains under investigation.
