Philip V. Ferrito Jr. Arrested for Bethpage TD Bank Robbery

North Massapequa man charged with third-degree robbery

BETHPAGE, N.Y. – Nassau County Police have arrested a North Massapequa man accused of robbing a TD Bank in Bethpage on Monday, October 6.

According to Major Case Squad detectives, Philip V. Ferrito Jr., 44, entered the TD Bank located at 145 Stewart Avenue around 2:18 p.m. and approached a teller. He then handed over a note demanding cash, police said.

The teller complied with the demand, and Ferrito fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Following an investigation, Nassau County Police located and arrested Ferrito, charging him with Robbery in the Third Degree.

Authorities have not disclosed the amount of money taken or whether any injuries occurred during the incident.
