SAN JOSE, Calif. (WFRV) – Peter Supnet and Edwin Dickerson III were arrested last month for allegedly assaulting and attempting to sex traffic two teenage girls from a hotel in South San Jose, according to police.

In a press statement, the San Jose Police Department said officers responded to a report of a battery at a hotel on Monterey Road, located between Senter Road and Skyway Drive. Two men had reportedly driven two 16-year-old girls to the hotel. One of the suspects allegedly told one of the teens that she would “work for him and make him money.”

When the victim tried to leave, the suspect reportedly punched her, causing minor injuries. However, the victim refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.

The Human Trafficking Task Force of the San Jose Police Department responded to the incident. Detectives identified the suspects as Peter Supnet and Edwin Dickerson III, and evidence suggested that they were attempting to sex traffic the two teenagers.
