Clovis Police Arrest Personal Trainer Rick Bracamontes Jr. for Alleged Sex Crimes Against Teen
CLOVIS, Calif. — Clovis Police have arrested 50-year-old Rick Bracamontes Jr. of Fresno on allegations of sex crimes involving a teenager. Bracamontes, who worked as an independent personal trainer at Doc’s Gym, was taken into custody last Thursday.
Investigators revealed that Bracamontes began contacting the victim through texts and social media last December, requesting photos in various outfits in exchange for money. As the messages grew increasingly inappropriate, the victim confided in her parents, who alerted the authorities.
Bracamontes now faces two felony charges: sending harmful material to a minor electronically and annoying or molesting a minor.
Detectives are urging parents, especially those whose children have been trained by Bracamontes, to discuss safety and report any concerns to the Clovis Police Department.
