Pennsylvania Couple Arrested with Counterfeit Cash in Missouri

Shoplifting leads to discovery of drugs, weapons, and stolen cards

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — Two people from Pennsylvania have been charged after deputies discovered thousands of dollars in counterfeit bills, drugs, weapons, and stolen property following a shoplifting incident at Ozarkland.

At 1:24 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Callaway County deputies responded to reports of a man and a woman, both wearing orange, allegedly stealing from Ozarkland. Additional reports indicated the same individuals had stolen items from a nearby gas station.

The suspects were identified as Kaytlyn M. Lloyd, 34, and Troy W. Johnson, 39, both from Dauphin, Pennsylvania. Court documents state the pair stole $790.82 worth of items from Ozarkland and $268.46 from the gas station.

During a search of their vehicle, deputies found:

45 counterfeit $100 bills

15 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia

Brass knuckles

Three stolen debit cards

Johnson faces felony charges including Stealing – $750 or more, Forgery, Possession of Controlled Substance, and three counts of Receiving Stolen Property, as well as misdemeanors for stealing, unlawful possession of an illegal weapon, and drug paraphernalia possession.

Lloyd was charged with felony counts of Stealing – $750 or more, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Tampering with a Witness, plus misdemeanors for stealing, unlawful possession of an illegal weapon, and drug paraphernalia possession.

Both are being held at the Callaway County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
