PASADENA, Texas — Two men have been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of Loomis Armored Transport guards that occurred on Tuesday, May 6, at a Chase Bank located at 5150 Fairmont Parkway.
According to the Pasadena Police Department, the suspects targeted guards servicing the ATM and, while armed with a handgun, stole several canisters from the armored vehicle. The canisters were later found to be empty.
Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified and arrested two suspects:
Pedro Sifuentes, 26, was charged with Aggravated Robbery and Tampering with Evidence. He is currently held at the Harris County Jail.
Irvin Ramos, 32, was charged with Aggravated Robbery and also faces drug-related charges. He was arrested with the assistance of the Sugar Land Police Department SWAT team and remains in custody at the Fort Bend County Jail, awaiting transport to Harris County.
Police also executed a search warrant at a residence connected to the suspects, where they recovered a stolen vehicle, firearms, and armored vests believed to have been used in the robbery. The initial getaway vehicle, found abandoned shortly after the crime, had also been reported stolen from Dallas, Texas.
The suspects fled before officers arrived at the scene, but the investigation led quickly to their identification and arrest.
