FAIRFIELD, Iowa — A 54-year-old Fairfield woman is facing multiple charges following a reported residential break-in early Sunday morning.
Just after 3 a.m., officers with the Fairfield Police Department were called to the 100 block of West Harrison Avenue after a resident returned home to find broken windows and missing items.
Shortly after, police located a woman known to the victim walking away from the area. After interviewing both parties and collecting evidence at the scene, officers arrested Paulette Noelene Delk.
Delk was charged with:
Second-degree burglary
Second-degree criminal mischief
Possession of drug paraphernalia
She was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility, where she is being held on a $10,000 bond.
