PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Paul Orndorff III, son of late pro wrestling legend Paul Orndorff, was arrested Thursday after a high-speed chase in Peachtree City, Georgia, ending in a tense standoff involving a police K-9.
Orndorff, a convicted felon with a history of fleeing police, now faces multiple felony charges, including fleeing law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, and illegal possession of a firearm.
The incident occurred on May 29, when officers attempted to stop Orndorff, who was wanted on outstanding charges and believed to be armed with stolen firearms. Instead of stopping, he allegedly sped off, reaching speeds of over 100 mph through a busy shopping center parking lot.
The chase echoed a similar 2019 incident, when Orndorff also fled from police and was subdued by a K-9. This time, after refusing to exit his vehicle and reaching under the seat, officers deployed a police dog into the car. The K-9 latched onto Orndorff’s arm before officers physically removed him from the vehicle.
Body camera footage reportedly captured the encounter, which police described as eerily similar to his past arrest.
Orndorff previously served time for the 2019 chase. His latest arrest deepens his legal troubles and marks yet another confrontation with Peachtree City law enforcement.
