Cullman, Ala. (WBRC) – A registered sex offender has been arrested in Cullman County, Alabama, after allegedly spying on women inside public restrooms at two local restaurants.
Patrick Scott Herron, 43, is accused of entering women’s bathrooms on two separate occasions — first on June 22 and again on June 29, 2025 — with the intent to watch women in the stalls. One woman reported that she looked up while in the stall and saw Herron holding a phone above her.
Court records confirm Herron has been charged with aggravated criminal surveillance in both cases. He is a registered sex offender with prior convictions for similar behavior. His current arrest may also constitute a probation violation tied to a 2023 plea agreement in Baldwin County, where he faced previous aggravated surveillance charges.
As part of that agreement, Herron had received a split sentence and was sent to treatment in December 2023. He completed that program in June 2025 — just before allegedly committing the new offenses in Cullman.
Authorities continue to investigate whether additional victims or incidents may be connected to Herron.
