Patrick Nabbed in Pasay for Batangas Project Scam

28-year-old faces estafa charges over fake investment

A 28-year-old man allegedly behind a project investment scam in Batangas has been arrested by the Pasay City Police Intelligence Section.

Col. Joselito De Sesto, chief of Pasay police, identified the suspect as Patrick, a resident of Hizon Street, Sta. Cruz, Manila. He was apprehended at around 3:50 p.m. on Friday, August 5, in front of the Midas Hotel along Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.

The arrest was made in accordance with a warrant issued by Judge Petronila Pitogo Tanas-Arguelles of the Batangas Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 1. No bail was recommended for the service of sentence related to the charge of estafa.

According to authorities, Patrick allegedly lured victims into investing in a fictitious project, promising large returns that never materialized.

Following his arrest, the suspect was turned over to the Warrant and Subpoena Section for proper processing.
