TUPELO, Miss. — Authorities have arrested 51-year-old Patrick Barnes of Saltillo in connection to an armed robbery that occurred at a Tupelo liquor store in March.
The incident took place on March 21st at Super C Wine and Spirits on East Main Street. According to Tupelo police, the store owner confronted Barnes over suspected shoplifting. Barnes then allegedly made threatening statements that suggested he was armed.
Barnes was arrested on June 26th and remains in jail after being denied bond, the Tupelo Police Department confirmed.
