Patna Police Crack Murder Case Two Arrested in Santosh Bind’s Death

Accused involved in liquor smuggling; weapon, cartridges recovered

Patna Police have successfully cracked the murder case of Santosh Bind (32), who was shot dead on February 24. The victim, a resident of Begampur Sati Chaura in the Mehandiganj police station area, was killed by unidentified assailants.

In less than 24 hours, the police, led by Patna City SDPO-2 Gaurav Mangla, made a breakthrough. A team was formed to investigate the case, and the dog squad tracked the accused based on a slipper found at the crime scene. Following raids, the police arrested two suspects—Yadunandan alias Bhutkan and his son Kanhaiya Kumar alias Badshah.

The investigation revealed that the accused were involved in liquor smuggling. The police recovered a weapon, live cartridges, and a bike from the arrested suspects, further strengthening the case.
