Parmanand Kosre Arrested in Fake Abroad Visa Scam

Nagpur Police have arrested Parmanand Kosre, a resident of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, for his role in an inter-state gang involved in deceiving people with promises of overseas employment. Kosre is the fifth accused apprehended in connection with the scam and has been remanded to five days of police custody.

According to ASI Deepak, Kosre fled from his residence in Chhattisgarh upon learning that police were closing in. He was subsequently arrested in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

Investigations revealed that the accused charged Rs 60,000 from individuals seeking to go abroad, providing them with a “primary visa” that was canceled within four days. During this period, the victims paid the amount, believing they were on their way to overseas employment. Police are continuing the investigation to identify and apprehend other members of the gang.
