Rajasthan Police have arrested Rahimyar Khan, a Pakistani national, who had been residing in India using forged Indian documents and an assumed identity. The arrest was made on Saturday in Gandhi Colony, located in the RIICO area, after authorities conducted surveillance on his telephone conversations with individuals abroad.

Khan, 35, was found to be in possession of multiple fake documents, including a Pakistani identity card, Pakistani currency, Indian currency, an Aadhar card, a bank passbook, and a cheque book. Additionally, a mobile phone was seized from him during the arrest.

Upon interrogation, Khan revealed that a man named Sachin, a resident of Ghaziabad, had assisted him in obtaining the fake Indian documents under the name of Vinay Kapoor. Both Khan and Sachin have been detained for questioning by security agencies.

Khan has been remanded to police custody for five days, and the investigation continues as authorities probe the illegal use of forged identity documents.
