Oshane O. Wright Arrested in Fort Edward on Multiple Felony Charges Following Domestic Incident

Queensbury man faces burglary, aggravated family offense, and criminal contempt charges after violating order of protection

FORT EDWARD, N.Y. — A Queensbury man was arrested in Washington County following a domestic incident that occurred at an apartment on 31 Lydius Street in the Village of Fort Edward.

Oshane O. Wright, 28, was taken into custody on Tuesday after an investigation revealed that he forcibly entered the residence, causing property damage, and violated an existing Order of Protection meant to safeguard a female victim.

Wright faces several felony charges including:

Burglary in the Second Degree

Aggravated Family Offense

Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree

Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree (misdemeanor)

He was arraigned during a Centralized Arraignment hearing on Wednesday and is currently held pending bail.
